Skinny Peanut Butter & Banana Ice cream

Skinny Peanut Butter and Banana Ice Cream

Ah Valentines day is behind us and we are in the midst of Lent (If you follow that kind of thing, I don't because I always falter after about 2 hours, seriously)

So finally for me I feel like I can get on the healthy eating bandwagon again.

Although that doesn't mean I'm giving up the sweet stuff, I'm just taking the sin out of it a little bit.

So I bring you a skinny Peanut Butter and Banana Ice cream and only 3 ingredients. So no added sugar, no artificial stuff in there either. Just a load of good stuff, that's good for you and tastes pretty darn good.

All you do is throw the ingredients into a blender, blitz, pop into an airtight container and freeze until your ready. Simple.

Also you don't even need an ice cream maker (since I'm one of those weird people that doesn't have one this was a big plus for me)

What's not to like.

I even stepped up the health anti and used organic peanut butter (Until I made this I didn't realise you could get organic no added sugar peanut butter but apparently you can)

This totally killed my sweet tooth and I didn't feel the least bit guilty after I polished it all of.

So I say bring on the summer and all the Ice Cream you can eat!

  4. Thanks for sharing, this sounds great! I don't have an ice cream maker either and usually see recipes I can't make. I also love that this is healthy as I have a major sweet tooth. I am a baking blogger and cake decorator and always seem to have sweets around. I'm trying to eat better and cut back on the sweets, this would be perfect!
